Dr Amanda Furness BSc QTS D Ed Ch Psy is an experienced Educational Psychologist registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). She has many years of experience working with children and vulnerable young people within educational settings and beyond. She is a qualified teacher and has worked as an Educational Psychologist since completing a Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology at the University Of East London (UEL). Her doctoral research and thesis focused on nurture groups as a provision for vulnerable pupils. Amanda has a particular interest in Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) but works with all areas of need across a broad age range. Amanda is approachable and cares deeply about her work and clients.
Areas covered: Amanda is able to complete work in areas across the South East of England including Hertfordshire, Suffolk, East London, Thurrock, Southend.
